Mary L. Daniels, born in Franklin, Massachusetts on June 30, 1862, was a missionary. She graduated from Franklin High School and continued her education at the Bridgewater Normal School. On October 3, 1885, she set sail for Harpoot, Turkey where she performed missionary work for twenty-seven years only returning home twice on furlough. When the War of 1912 prevented her from continuing her work, Daniels moved back to Franklin.

 

Mary Daniels died in Franklin on August 4, 1923.
